    I did struggle a lot to get a good light for the patterned paper to show better , but I guess I`m in no luck today...It`s very cloudy, raining since last night without pause... :( But I do have some good news! :D I just won in last week`s challenge from Sketch Saturday! Yayyyyyyy

         Hello everyone! 

   I know I said that I will be back here yesterday, I really had no chance! My laptop gave up on me and didn`t want to start no matter what I did! Luckily I have a bf that knows how to fix everything and this morning my  laptop started working again,like brand new,yayyy! :) 

   So here I am, with my first try at a shaker card. I know I could have done it better, but for a first try I`m pretty pleased about how it turned out!

   I drew and then hand cut the butterfly myself as the only die cut butterfly I already have was to big for the small acetate I had in my stash. So it doesn`t look so neat as it should be, but I do hope you like it. :) 

   I made this card for Mrs. A`s challenge at Butterfly Challenge. The letter this time is A for Aperture and/ or Apricot. I tried to work with both. :)

         Good evening to you all lovely people! 

   Today, my day started pretty ugly. For several years, for a couple of months a year, I had some ugly migraines. This year started good , migraines free ( they always appeared in January and kept going till almost in summer) and I almost forgot about them, till this morning... :(  A really awful migraine kept me stuck in bed all morning, with all the curtains shut! Then , at the middle of the day I wanted to try and make some cards in the hope that this way I will forget about the pain. And now I`m so happy I did it, even though I almost cried a few times,  the pain is gone for now...

   So this is one of the cards I made today, following the new sketch from Sketch Saturday, of course! :) 

   The stamp is from Stampin Bella and it`s called Uptown Girls Clarissa and Camille Share A Cafe.

   I made this card with my best friend in mind! I think it`s perfect for her! When we were home, we used to get togheter to really loooooong coffees and talks! Now I live in France and she lives in England, we get our coffees togheter, mostly virtual and not as often as we would like to. I miss her soooo much!

         Hello everyone!

   I am so excited to tell you that i was picked in the top 3 at Sketch Saturday. It was really unexpected to see my name and card appearing there as there were so many other marvelous creations! And to make things even better,  I also was picked and mentioned by Miss Di from Pixie`s Snippets Playground! I was so overjoyed, I keep smiling from Saturday, on and on hehehe! Thank you so so so much for picking my card! 

    And now, as you may have guessed there`s a new sketch on Sketch Saturday and of course I gave it a try.Here  you have the sketch for this week:

 And my card using a stamp from Saturated Canary this time. This little cutie`s name is Jules. Isn`t she adorable? 

    I was so afraid not to ruin her with my bad coloring  that I was almost on the verge of using a 3d decoupage instead. But I think she came out pretty well, considering....heheh! I also used a little glitter on the little dots from her clothes but of course I`m not good at taking photos either so it`s not visible in the picture.

      Hello everyone! Today I`ll show you a card I made with almost everything on it made by my hands, no machine. I`m a little nervous about showing it as I know it`s not the most beautiful result. But I think what matters the most is that it was made with all the love in the world for the most extraordinary woman in my life: my MOM! :) 

     My mom loves poppies and after a thorough search through my  smallish stash I found out that I have absolutely nothing with poppies, so I thought why not try and draw one myself... Easy said...difficult to be made, as my drawing skills are not really the best. After the drawing , I needed a circle die on wich to layer the drawing , and unfortunately I also didn`t have one like that, so I started really determined and full of patience to hand cut one myself. Oh and the sentiment is also handwritten by me ( I know it`s very noticeable).

     The only machine made materials i used are the green leafs and the tiny butterfly.

     Believe it or not it took me 2 days to finish this card. Several hours just to manage to make an almost acceptable poppy, then another several hours for the hand cut circle underneath it. But totally worth it, in my opinion.

     I remembered that over at Sketch Saturday they have a new sketch so I used that in order to put togheter my card. I really love the sketch! Here it is:

         Hello hello! So happy to let you know today that last week I have won my very first challenge at The Crafter`s Cafe Challenge! Yayyyyy! 

   And as it was expected that gave me a really good boost of confidence and started to create more with a much bigger enthusiasm! hehe. So this time the theme at The Crafter`s Cafe Challenge is Feminine. I tried my best at coloring the little cutie but of course I still have to practice a lot!!

     This time I was inspired by the Sketch Saturday`s new challenge where you have to pick a sketch from nr 215 - 396. I chose Sketch n° 256.

  I would also like to join in with my card in Craftyhazelnut`s Patterned Paper Challenge  and the wonderful playground at Pixie`s Crafty Workshop.

          Hello again everyone!

      I think I might have got my mojo back after such a long pause. I saw these days on Sketch Saturday`s facebook page the new sketch (You can also  find their challenge blog here : -> Sketch Saturday). I started somewhat without any mood at all but once started, I couldn`t stop anymore, hehehe! Love this sketch! It`s so easy and fun to play with, even for a not-so- experienced card maker like me. I ended up making 4 :))) but today I will show just one.

      Then I remembered about this photo I took a couple of days ago, wich shows the magical beauty of the spring and thought to get inspired by it and try to join also in The Crafter`s Cafe Challenge Blog where the theme is What season are you in! And of course for me, I`m in the most splendid spring! See for yourselves:

          Hello everyone! It`s been soooo long since I`ve been away, had so much to work and then when I thought I could take a break along came some health problems, which are still around of course but not so strong as in the begining. I hope you don`t mind me writing in english today!

      Even though I haven`t posted anything for a while , I kept visiting Mrs. A`s blog at Butterfly Challenge , and yesterday I managed to spare a little time and play with the new challenge. The new challenge is : #53 Butterflies + T is for Texture and/or Teal.

       I am joining in 2 more new challenges that I found just today and they both seem super duper! :)

      And here is my card:

          It`s my first time colouring a stamp and i know it looks kinda lame , still have to practice a lot!!! And I`m not sure if you can see from the photo , the curls and the leaves are embossed and glazed with black velvet texture. :)
